With Nottinghamshire Day coming up next month (25 August), we wanted to shout about all the ‘homegrown’ brands we’re proud to have in the centre - shining a light on the range of independent dining and retail options available at Victoria Centre.

 Following a series of successful outdoor events held in the city centre. Since opening, the venue has generated over 2 million pounds for local independent Nottinghamshire businesses.

Treat Kitchen

Owned by local family business, TKK Confectionery, Treat Kitchen is home to sweet treats galore.

Built on a deep family history in Nottinghamshire confectionery, dating back to boiled sweet making in the 1890s, the family-run business produces high-quality and delicious goodies.

From mouth-watering sweet mixes boxes, chocolate pouches, and a range of vegan gummy sweets, Treat Kitchen is the perfect place to tempt those with a sweet tooth.

Treat Kitchen also maintains a key focus on sustainability, with 100 per cent recyclable packaging, working with local businesses to source its coffee, cake and ice cream. The team also supports Nottinghamshire charities, partnering with Base 51, Double Impact and Radiant Cleaners to help local services.

Relic X Hooked

Changing the face of second-hand stores, Relic X Hooked is the hotspot for fans of vintage and unique, one-off pieces.

Nottingham-based vintage clothing brand Relic, has joined forces with trainer specialists Hooked, created by former Nottingham Trent University student, Daniel Wilmot.

Located next to the Emett Clock on the upper mall, the shop brings together resold, reused and exclusive sportswear, streetwear and shoes. Specialising in vintage sports teams and racing jackets, there’s always new second-hand gems to be found in store.

Clean Cut Kitchen
