A Place to Pause and Reflect at Victoria Centre

Life can be busy, so we’re creating a space to help you slow down.

Located on the Upper Mall Pause Point is a new wellbeing space created by Victoria Centre in partnership with Nottinghamshire Mind, our Charity of the Year. It’s a place to sit, pause and take a moment for yourself, while learning more about mental wellbeing and supporting a local cause.

Discover the Pause Point Playlist – The Playlist Inspired by Real People

At the heart of Pause Point is a community-inspired playlist featuring songs chosen by volunteers and supporters of Nottinghamshire Mind.

Every track has a personal story, whether it’s a song that brings comfort, boosts confidence, inspires happy memories or simply helps someone through a difficult day.

From Vienna by Billy Joel to You Get What You Give by New Radicals, the playlist celebrates the power of music to support wellbeing.

Our charitable work in 2025

In 2025 we supported Nottinghamshire Hospice as our chosen charity, and we’d like to thank you all for your generosity.

From the Emett Clock, we raised over £5,000 for Nottinghamshire Hospice during 2025, all thanks to your generous donations.

During the festive period, in collaboration with Nottingham West Lions and Nottinghamshire Hospice, we raised £6,000 from the gift wrapping pop-up.

Plus, you helped us to raise over £15,000 for The Royal British Legion during their poppy appeal at the Centre.

Among other efforts, we have also supported ChalleNGe to bring their ”Summer Arts Pop-up” to life, giving a space for local youth groups to take part in artistic workshops.

We’d like to thank you once again for helping us support these wonderful causes.
