Remembrance Sunday Article

This Sunday along with the rest of the country we will honour those who served our country by holding a 2 minute silence at 11am and we'd kindly ask you to join us.

A two-minute silence will be observed at 11am on both the 10th and 11th of November. We kindly invite you to join us in paying your respects.

In addition throughout the week we are being joined by the Royal British Legion's poppy appeal who are located outside John Lewis, raising money for those veterans who served by way of purchasing a poppy.

This in particular brings extra significance as the lovely people here on behalf of the Royal British Legion have been coming to the Victoria Centre for over 30 years and have recently also been honoured with an MBE something that we believe deserves to be spoken about. On behalf of everyone we at the Victoria Centre would like to say thank you to those who served and who continue to serve.
