Your guide to a day at Victoria Centre Article
For 50 years, Victoria Centre has been at the very heart of Nottingham’s city centre.
Although a lot has changed over the last five decades, our ethos has stayed the same, welcoming thousands of visitors every day to enjoy the very best of retail and dining.
If you’re spending a full day with us, we’ve put together a useful guide of everything you need to know about the centre and its facilities – from the best eats and top shops to while away an afternoon, to all-importance services like the convenient baby changing area and car park facilities, we have everything you need all in one place.
Car Parking
With a total of 2,288 spaces across both our multi-story car park (access via Woodborough Road) and basement car park (access via York Street or Glasshouse Street), we've got ample and easy parking for all of our visitors.
Alongside 110 parking spaces reserved for Blue Badge holders and 90 parent and child designated bays, at Victoria Centre, we’re also doing our bit to champion more eco-friendly journeys.
Available to use seven days a week during centre hours, our 32 Electric Vehicle (EV) charging points are situated across our centre car parks. Eight charging stations can be found on the top level of our multi-storey parking, and a further 24 points are in our green zone of the basement carpark.
And, for Nottingham’s Tesla drivers, they’ll soon be able to make use of our eight, high-speed Tesla Supercharging Points, also located in the basement carpark green zone. Tesla's in-car navigation will direct drivers to the superchargers stations, where visitors can simply park up, plug-in and monitor the charging progress via the Tesla phone app. If you are a Tesla driver, pre-register your car here and receive your first two hours of parking for free.
A new addition to the Victoria Centre basement car park, the Inter Car Cleaning team is on hand to clean and valet your car while you shop – no booking ahead required.

Family facilities
Taking your little one(s) out shopping for the day can sometimes be a challenge. At Victoria Centre, we’ve provided you with a calm and convenient spot to both feed and change your baby; so, there’s no more juggling your bags, while squeezing into a tiny cubicle.
For feeding, private booths will offer you and baby some peace and quiet, with microwaves and bottle warming facilities for feeding on-the-go. Our spacious baby changing facilities and nappy dispensers offer everything you need, including plenty of buggy parking with TV screens to help keep little ones entertained.
All baby or toddler care facilities can be found at the toilets situated on the upper mall.

Late night shopping
Later opening hours aren’t just for Christmas! Every Wednesday and Saturday, you can enjoy an extra hour of shopping, with the centre’s opening times extended from 8am - 7pm – making it easier for our customers to visit us at a time that suits them.
You’ll also find that certain stores, including John Lewis & Partners, Next and Boots are open later, but for full details of retailer opening times, check individual websites or social channels.

Clocktower dining eateries are open even later too, so that you can relish all that Victoria Centre has to offer, without eating into your time spent shopping. For information on individual opening times and places to eat at Victoria Centre, visit the website.
